Founded in 2017 in California’s Central Valley, Barkley’s began with one simple mission: to bring dogs the same quality food we serve at our own table. With over 30 years of USDA- and SQF-certified meat packing expertise, the Sullivan family set out to craft premium raw dog food and single-ingredient treats that deliver real nutrition, no fillers, and nothing artificial. What started as a family craft has now become a multi-generational passion project, carried forward with the same care and values.

Every bowl is made in our USDA-inspected facility in the United States, with farm-raised proteins and produce we can trace to the source.
The science
How we make raw safe. Without making it less raw.
Raw food has one well-known challenge: pathogens. Most brands solve it with HPP — High-Pressure Processing — which crushes cells under 87,000 PSI and denatures the proteins your dog needs. We use electron beam sterilization. A 30-second exposure that eliminates 99.99999% of pathogens without damaging a single protein, enzyme, or cell.
