On the Road: Marina, CA

From the mountains to the city, this month we’re in San Francisco! Thanks to our Dog of the Month, and SF Marina local, @__kobethepup, we got the inside scoop on the best places to take your pup!

Most bars and restaurants are still closed in SF, but for those wishing to venture north, Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma, CA is open Wednesday-Sunday and welcomes all leashed dogs on their large outdoor patio (social distancing is required for humans and puppers).

Back down in the city, there is no shortage of outside activities for your four legged friend to enjoy. Moscone Dog Park is located on Chestnut Street in the Marina District. While it may be small, it’s a great spot for your pup to meet the locals (local dogs that is)! Down towards the water there is Crissy Field East Beach and the Marina Green. Both are great places to enjoy the sunset or picturesque views of the Golden Gate Bridge any day of the week!

The Lands End Trail, in Land Ends Park, is a 3.4 mile loop that features wild flowers, beautiful views, but most of all it’s dog friendly. Or the Fort Funston Trail by Lake Merced is another local favorite for dogs, but hold on to your things because the wind is no joke!

Wherever you decide to spend your day in the city, don’t forget your mask and a bone!
