A Pet Parents Valentine’s Day is typically filled with lots of flowers, chocolates and kisses. For a pup it’s much different! Since dogs would rather tear apart flowers, can’t eat chocolate (unless you’re trying to kill your date) and are much more into French kissing, we prepared the pawfect Valentine’s Day Pup Date!

Number One Rule: Don’t be late to pick up your date! And don’t forget to remove all fur from your seats.

Tip! Taking your dog bed out will also make you look a little order than your date will think!

Looks like Dolce (female Mini Golden Doodle) is wearing the fur in this relationship and insisting on driving! Rocco (male Italian Greyhound mix) doesn’t mind!

First stop: Del Mar Beach! The best place to get down and dirty!

Digging a giant hole together is the best first date ice breaker. And the beach is not a bad place to sneak in a few pooch smooches as well!

Tip! If you got it flaunt it! Dolce is definitely catching Rocco’s attention… and the rest of the dogs at the beach!

Second Stop: Pacifica Breeze Cafe for all you can eat treats!

Tip! Keep your paws and mouths off the table!

Third Stop: Puppacinos from Starbucks! Not usually recommended for a first date because of the messiness. (similar to eating a Burger on a first date for you Pet Parents)

Tip! Make sure you’re not too whipped!

Fourth Stop: Wally’s house for some Barkley’s Bag bones! Their bellys are full and in need of a healthy bone to clean their teeth from all the sugar.

Tip! Barkley’s Bag bones freshens up your breath. No one wants a stinky Valentine’s date kiss!
